06 Aug KSC Receives Golden Image Award for 3M Dealer Newsletter

KSC, Inc. and Accent Distributing received on August 6, 2019 a Golden Image Award and Judges Award from the Florida Public Relations Association for an internal electronic newsletter designed to reach more than 1,000 3M™ Authorized Window Film Dealers across nine states and the Caribbean.

Since 2015, KSC, Inc. has been the agency of record for Accent Distributing, one of three 3M™ Authorized Window Film Distributors in the United States. In addition to selling 3M™ Window Film and associated products, Accent Distributing provides value added benefits to its dealer network, including assistance with 3M warrantees; installation training; territory-wide lead generation campaigns; marketing assistance, employee recruitment and more.

KSC, Inc. recognized the need for consistent information from Accent Distributing to its dealer network. Initial research showed that dealers preferred to receive information electronically. Since October 2015, KSC, Inc. has written, produced and distributed the electronic newsletter, Dealer E-News, monthly.

Content includes a Dealer Spotlight (a profile story about a dealer), an Employee Spotlight (a feature story about one of Accent Distributing’s employees), a Tool-of-the-Month section (to promote Accent Distributing’s mobile friendly tool ordering website); a training calendar; important 3M announcements and product launches; a “Marketing Corner” blog, purchasing information and more. The average open rate is 29 percent – which surpasses the 15.42 percent industry standard open rate for manufacturing and distribution.

The “Dealer E-News” electronic newsletter was entered into the online newsletter category of the Florida Public Relations Association’s prestigious Golden Image Awards program. The Florida Public Relations Association is the world’s oldest public relations trade association and has been supporting public relation professionals since 1938. The highly competitive award program has become a standard of public relations excellence in Florida.
